Trustees of IfJ have written to the MoJ expressing concerns following the publication of the Prior Information Notice (PIN) regarding the MoJ’s ‘commercial strategy for the provision of Court Appointed Intermediary Services to courts and tribunals in England and Wales’. The content of IfJ’s letter reflects comments and opinions given in the recent IfJ survey of members' views on the PIN. Currently this proposal does not include those registered Intermediaries that come under the remit of the MoJ Witness Intermediary Scheme.
