This all-day course highlights the various ways in which a range of low technology communication aids can be practically and effectively incorporated into police interviews, trials and conferences, to facilitate best evidence. It explains the functions aids serve and the type of information they can elicit. The course also emphasises the importance of how to manage aid-use with a vulnerable person and interviewing officer or advocate, for them to be successful.
